RIP Fearless One ♡♡♡

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Dolores Huerta lived a long and remarkable life of service and controversy, conflict, achievement and fame. She was among the last of a generation of iconic civil rights leaders and advocates for change that included Robert F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., and her colleague and mentor, Cesar Chavez. But unlike those leaders Huerta lived a long, full life into her 90s — and she never retired. Huerta died Wednesday at age 96. Her cause of death has not been determined yet.
